Brief Analysis:
Government is another essential component that can be used to bring a viewer to attention. V For
Vendetta tells the story of a mild-mannered young woman named Evey who is
rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked vigilante known only as
"V." He destroys two London landmarks and takes over the
government-controlled airwaves, urging his fellow citizens to rise up against
tyranny and oppression. Evey understands the misconceptions of the government. She also fears life itself, for she has been manipulated by the government. V falls in love with her and punishes her in a brutal way that than allows her to concur her fear. She eventually, falls in love with him as well.
Love Battle:
As for Evey. Here is someone
V supposedly loves, yet he tortures her physically and psychologically. Evey clearly disagrees with V's strategy, it's why she leaves him
in the first place. Only when she is tortured and manipulated into seeing V's
point of view is she allowed back. If V's cause is just, his views correct, why
does he have to resort to such extremes to convince people of this?
" Justice and freedom, are more than just the ability to speak, it is but a perspective."
" Justice and freedom, are more than just the ability to speak, it is but a perspective."
Realization:
As Evey uncovers the truth about V's
mysterious background, she also discovers the truth about herself - and emerges
as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plot to bring freedom and
justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption. The people than realize that freedom is only gained and truly understood if there is no fear, put into the people in the first place. Conclusion:
As
November the 5th, the day V says he and those who will follow him will stand up
to the government once and for all approaches, Detective Finch becomes more and
more determined to uncover the truth about V, however his search leads him to
ask to question whether or not he is on the right side.
This is really good! You provided a lot of pictures, which I really liked. I really like your background, too. Just make sure you put in the deeper meaning of the movie if that's what you're aiming for. All in all, it looks really good!
ReplyDeleteV for Vendetta seems like a very interesting movie! I have read the graphic novel before, but I still have to watch the movie all the way. The format and the pictures are very cool. Are there any clips from the movie that can be thrown in there? That would be neat to see. Also, just make sure that you have topic sentences for your points. Besides that, I like how it is so far!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very creative page. The fonts and colors look really good and the layout is clear and labeled. My only suggestions are minor, like changing the colors to match more with the green or change the font of the subsections to make it a little more fun. Overall, this is great and I wouldn't change much. The sections were nice and brief and to the point, which is great for the web.
